What is public

A published professional profile can show the professional’s name, city, current workplace, languages, service expertise, and portfolio work. The professional owns this portable identity and can edit or unpublish it.

A map pin appears only when a professional separately chooses a point for a saved public workplace. A service area, mobile route, private studio, and hidden workplace never create a map pin. Changing, hiding, unpublishing, or erasing that workplace removes its placement.

What stays private

Saved searches and private result credits belong to the signed-in account. Private notes are not shown to professionals. A request shares only its configured visibility and structured fields; account contact details are not part of the request.

Request inspiration images

You may attach one image you have permission to share. It is inspiration, not evidence of a professional’s work. Only you and signed-in professionals whose published work currently matches the request can view it. It is not publicly indexed or added to a portfolio.

An unfinished image draft may remain on this device for up to 24 hours so you can return after signing in. Replacing or removing it, publishing successfully, or clearing browser data removes that draft. Closing a published request keeps its image in your private request history. Account erasure hides it immediately and queues the stored file for deletion; failed cleanup remains retryable.

Direct handoff

Before opening an external contact or booking destination, SporaQuest names the channel and exact portfolio work. SporaQuest records the profile, work item, channel, and observable launch outcome. It does not record the contact value in analytics and cannot confirm what happens on the external service.

Reports and identity recovery

Photo reports and profile reports use structured reasons rather than public accusations or free-text reviews. A report is linked to the reporting account to prevent abuse, but is not shown publicly. A depicted-person photo request can temporarily hide that exact photo. Reporting a whole profile does not hide it automatically; an allowlisted operator must review the case.

Operator decisions are reasoned and recorded in append-only history. Profile holds and contact pauses are reversible.

Service providers

Clerk provides account authentication. Cloudflare provides application hosting, D1 persistence, and protected media delivery. Map views use Apple MapKit JS; Apple receives the request needed to deliver the map. The portfolio list remains available when maps are unavailable. A professional’s external contact or booking service has its own privacy terms after you choose to continue there.

Analytics boundaries

SporaQuest analytics exclude contact values, raw request or message text, private location details, image metadata, and private result notes. Portfolio image metadata is stripped before production storage.

Your controls

Professionals can edit and unpublish their profile without losing its stable identity. Saved-search, private-result, reporting, export, and erasure controls appear only where their authenticated persistence and safety controls are enabled.

SporaQuest erasure hides public work and contact routes immediately, removes or pseudonymizes owned records, and queues portfolio files for provider cleanup. Limited pseudonymized safety and result history, plus an account-derived hold that prevents recreation, remain. The Clerk sign-in account is not deleted by this control.
